(13/1/2019) Kauri Dieback cleaning station have been installed at both ends of the Beveridge Trail. To be honest, it’s a lot of effort for not much trail so our recommendation is to avoid the Beveridge Trail for now. Exhibition Drive is still available as a nice, flat, easy bush ride.

Opened in 2011 and a tribute to a tribute to Bill Beveridge. This is the only opportunity to ride your mountain bike in the Waitakere’s. Starts just outside Titirangi on Exhibition Drive. Shared use trails, gentle grade. Stunning views across the dams to the west coast, and the harbor to the east.


How to get there:

Best to start the car park at the junction of Scenic Drive and Woodland Park Road.

The trail grade is suitable for all riders, 12km return, best to start the car park at the junction of Scenic Drive and Woodland Park Road. Follow your nose along Exhibition drive, you can’t miss the Beveridge Trail on the right after several km’s.

Remember to take some $ for ice cream at the visitor centre.
