From humble beginnings as secret illegal tracks over five years ago, Massey University now fully support the project and there is a tight-knit group of locals constantly improving and keeping the 20+km of trails running sweet. The RATs organise working bees on the second Sunday of each month and are always keen for volunteers.
If you’ve not been before you’ll be amazed at how much single track can be squeezed into a small block of bush. Take a short-cut at your peril!

How to Get There
Head North on SH1, exit at Greville Road, straight ahead at the round about, to the Albany Expressway. Turn left onto Bush Road, then left onto Bushlands Park Drive. Best to park here. Entry to the trails is on Bush Road, opposite Bushlands Park Drive, look for the gate to the left. Follow the 4wd trails, after a few 100m’s look out for the trails on the right.
